Ao Mamuang or "Mango Bay" was on the north end of Ko Tao. There was considerable coral across the entire eastern end of this bay, and it was a prime destination of dive and snorkeling boats. There were two relatively small resorts on shore. It was necessary to use a mooring here to avoid damaging coral. The prevailing westerly winds caused an annoying swell to roll into this bay, so we did not enjoy staying there overnight.
